Our Pastor
Debbie and I have been here since July 2007. We love the north and especially Hearst. I have been a minister for 11 years in places like Elgin and Long Sault ON.
I have a desire to see people succeed and for the opportunity to introduce as many people as I can to my best friend. It is a goal to live my life to the fullest. My friend said, and I believe Him, that He came so that people could have a life and more of it. I have found that by listening to good advice helps me be a better person. What I have learned has made me a better man, husband, father, and friend.
Where did I get this advice? From my best friend His name is Jesus. He has taught me a lot and has provided me with love, friendship, direction, prosperity and success.
Jesus is a friend to everyone regardless of race, colour or background. He can help you be a success. If you would like to call Debbie or I and we would be more than happy to take the time to introduce you to our best friend.

New Life History
New Life Centre has been in Hearst since 1949 when John Spillenaar came by rail to work in the bush camps as a Pastor. He built a church and in 1980 the new church building was erected by Rev. David Lariviere. It has been a Centre for services to the children, youth and women and men of the surrounding area. It has provided pastoral counselling to the grieving, marriage counselling to many couples looking to marry and those who have need after marriage. It has provided teaching for those interested in the Bible. This has been a Centre for those who want to start a New Life.
